The person at the front of the room has more influence over the quality of the thinking than anyone else in it, and usually spends that influence badly, by talking. The Facilitative Leader is about the other option: setting the room up so the group does the work while you carry the process rather than the content. Across eight modules you will learn to hold the neutral chair when you have a strong view of your own, design a session backwards from the decision it has to produce, read what a room is telling you when nobody says it out loud, run tools that surface genuinely new ideas rather than the loudest person's idea, move a group to a decision that survives the car park conversation, handle the dominant voice and the silent one, and keep all of it working when half the room is on a screen.
